FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Do you have detailed instructions on how to use the weaning bibs?
Yes, we do. Click on this link and you'll see step by step instructions on how to use the Original Weaning Bib, the Mini Weaning Bib, and attaching the sleeves. The Mini Weaning Bib is a new product that will be available in August, 2022.
2. How do I convert the weaning bib into an apron?
Every weaning bib comes with two detachable straps. Attach these straps to the snaps on the top of the bib. Tie straps up around the back of the neck and tie the side straps of the bib around the torso.
3. What's the easiest way to store the weaning bibs?
Our advice is to hang the weaning bibs on a hook (perhaps the back of the pantry door). Often you can reuse the weaning bib without having to put it in the washing machine. You simply need to wipe it down with a wet cloth. On these occasions, hanging it on a hook allows it to dry in time for the next mealtime, and saves you time hanging it out on the line and then bringing it back in.
4. What fabric is the weaning bib made from and what are the fabric care requirements?
The weaning bibs are made from a soft, completely waterproof fabric called PUL. It is a polyester fabric coated with TPU, which gives it a waterproof backing. The fabric is tested to ensure it meets Australian safety requirements.
The weaning bibs are machine washable. The waterproof backing can be damaged with extreme heat, so make sure the water temperature is below 60 degrees celcius, and do not put them in the dryer. Also, do not soak them in bleaching agents.
